My Journey to the Northern Pole of Inaccessibility!

Hello everyone, welcome to my first post! Céad míle fáilte romhaibh go léir!

After many hours scratching my head, colourful language and numerous beers to help the creative process 🙂 I finally decided to go live. It has been a steep learning curve on this whole blog creation process, so hopefully everything works as it should. I’m not entirely sure if I’ve cracked the layout on mobile devices yet so feedback is appreciated!

Over the next year I will be sharing my experiences for my attempt at reaching the Northern Pole of Inaccessibility (Arctic Pole), a polar world first attempt, with the Ice Warrior Project and the #Lastpole expedition. We will also be gathering data for our scientific partners on the impact / progression of climate change in the Arctic region.

You can now find out information about myself, our objective and our team #Lastpole / Ice Warrior Project on my blog. You can also find out on how you or your organisation can get involved in this unique world first expedition.

Over the coming weeks and months I will share with you information on the various aspects of the #Lastpole expedition and my preparation. This information will be specific to our polar endeavour i.e. polar skills training, kit, technology, science, nutrition and my fitness training.

Feel free to use the contact page if you would like any information on #Lastpole. We are also currently seeking adventurous and committed team members for our #Lastpole expedition, so please do get in touch if you want to challenge yourself and  be part of something unique and worthwhile.

Finally, if you like what you see please follow my blog and my other social media to keep up to date with my progress. You can also follow the Ice Warrior / #Lastpole project on Twitter and Facebook.

Thanks for taking the time to read; until next time!
